“Jobs growth was very strong in January, as labour force participation picked up,” Danske Bank said in a note. “We believe it is more important to look at the unemployment rate (as headline jobs growth depends on how many people are flowing into the labour force) and another move lower would mean a higher probability of the Fed hiking by 50bp in March despite the Russia-Ukraine war.”
